Diaries (1899-1957) of Oscar Miller, a Chicago personal injury lawyer. Oscar Miller was born and raised in Chicago and lived in the city, although he had a farm in northern Illinois, until he retired to California in 1950. He married a teacher from St. Louis in 1942, Hortense Miller, and they established a home and garden at Laguna Beach in California.
